Microneeding
Microneedling, also known as Collagen Injection Therapy and Dry Needling, was born out of the tattoo industry when artists had noticed a significant improvements in scar texture after a tattoo over the scar had healed. Since then it has become one our strongest paramedical tools to help breakdown most types of scar tissue while helping to improve texture, color, and size.
Collagen synthesis is promoted from within the dermis by use of micro-injuries causing the skin to, in some ways, regrow itself to camouflage scars, plump and tighten skin, and rejuvenate the dermal layers from the inside out. The dermal collagen thickness frequently increases by over a millimeter!
Microneedling is the first step in any scar revision. Many times, it’s the only step needed, such as with acne scarring. A complete plan with pricing will be created specifically for your needs at your free consultation.
Scar Camouflage Pigmentation
Scars can be camouflaged by tattooing corrective pigment over the effected tissue. Corrective pigment can be either artistic and designed for the client, or simply blended in with the surrounding skin pigment. This can be done over most types of scars, including stretch marks. This is often part of a treatment plan that will be discussed at your free consultation.
Mastectomy Scar Solutions
We want to help women who have been though the trauma of battling breast cancer by providing options to help to reclaim their body while privately celebrating survival. Siren Yakima offers a safe place for the community to go to receive scar treatments of choice. By offering microneeding, scar camouflage, and artistic scar cover ups, we offer as many choices as we can to help heal the psychological scars in a caring and nurturing environment. Up to 16 hours a month is volunteered to services like areola replication for uninsured women.
Due to the privacy of our clients, we do not post pictures relating to breast tissue, nor do we ask.
Artistic Scar Cover
Sometimes, an artistic design can cover a scar and make it uniquely yours. This is normally done after reconstructive surgery. But, it can be done for any scar. All work is done in privacy and will not be shown to the public. Your personalized plan will be determined at your free consultation.
Stretch marks
The First option is promoting self healing through Dry Tattooing. This method is in many ways a type of terraforming, by causing micro injuries that promote regrowth of the outer dermal layers. These new layers of ‘normal’ skin reacts the same as the surrounding tissue. It will tan as some of the melanocytes have returned to previously damaged areas. There is also a revascularization to areas that are correctly treated. Lack of blood flow is why so many scars have turned white, and why many old stretch marks have a silvery sheen.
Plasma Fibroblast is another highly effective process to diminish the appearance of stretch marks.
Self Harm Scars – Free
This service is free as 16 hours a month is donated to a handful of free services. Your personalized plan will be determined at your free consultation.
